Our mission:
“To enhance the quality of life for older people"

Choosing the appropriate care option for yourself or for a family member or friend is a difficult decision. Any move is stressful, and moving a loved one into an assisted living home or other elderly care facility often involves leaving a place they called home for many years.

We understand everyone is different and can have very different requirements, depending on their individual circumstances. We've developed a choice of accommodation to suit a whole range of needs and preferences. Of course, choosing what's best for you or a loved one can feel daunting, so we're also on hand to offer our advice and experience if you need it. Our flexibility gives you lots of options to carry on living life as you want to.

We're a charitable organisation with one mission: to enhance the quality of life for older people and make their lives easier and more fulfilling.

He bought a small house in Bermondsey, South London, and invited two local residents who'd been living alone, to join him. The first Abbeyfield house was born
